[A Pokemon landed infront of Prof. Oak's lab,as a boy got off it and went inside.]
Garnet:Hey,old man!Where are you?!
Prof. Oak:Calm down,Garnet!I'm here already.
Garnet:Whatever.So what was so important that I had to come over?
Prof. Oak:You are probably aware that you are now 13 years old.
Garnet:Yeah,so?
Prof. Oak:Your parents issued me to give you your starter Pokemon at this age,along with your Pokedex of course.
Garnet:So you're gonna let me choose between Bulbasaur,Charmander, and Squirtle,huh?
Prof. Oak:Um...actually...I can only give you a Charmander.
Garnet:WTF?!How did this happen?!
Prof. Oak:Well,you see....There were two other children who took Bulbasaur and Squirtle.They just left a few minutes ago.
Garnet:*sigh*I guess I'll have to settle with a Charmander.

[Location:Route 1]
Topaz:Go Minato!Tail Whip then Tackle!
[Bulbasaur wagged it tail and lunged at a Rattata,making faint.]
Topaz:Ahahaha!That was great,Minato!
Minato(Bulbasaur):Bulba-saur!
[The Bulbasaur jumped into Topaz's arms as she sqeezed it tightly.]
Topaz:Hey,Amber!How're ya doin' over there?
[She turns around to see Amber and his Squirtle sitting under a tree,with Amber happily polishing Squirtle's shell.]
Amber:You'll grow up to be a powerful and beautiful Pokemon,Uzu-chan...I just know you will!
Uzu(Squirtle):Squirtle-squirt!
Topaz:Amber,what are doing lazing off like that?
Amber:Huh?I was done with our training 5 minutes ago.Look....
[He takes out his Pokedex from his bag and shows it to Topaz.]
Topaz:Wow!Your Uzu is already level 11![My Minato's a level behind!]Er....but why are you in such a rush anyways?
Amber:I heard that there are Pokemon Contests here in Kanto.But there's also a Gym in the next town.
Topaz:I see...so you're leveling up your Uzu so it can be ready for its upcoming battles and contests!
Amber:We better get going....[stands up and packs up his stuff]...I don't wanna let my soon-to-be fans waiting!
Topaz:You're so hyper when it comes to Contests!![laughs]
[The two runs towards the next town,as a bird Pokemon flies over them....]
[The two pause for a moment...]
Topaz:Hey....isn't that the same....
Amber:Yeah....
